The Launch Pad Job Club (LPJC), an Austin-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing job search assistance to the public.  Check the home page for meeting announcements, if you have time to give, please come by a meeting and introduce yourself.

The mission of the LPJC is to provide outplacement services, job seeking skills, and education and training in an environment that encourages and facilitates networking, mutual support, and maintaining a positive attitude, with the ultimate goal of meaningful employment.

LPJC is a networking organization that provides motivation, information, and an opportunity to share job search assistance with its members. Membership is free to anyone and can be obtained simply by attending one meeting and signing up. With nearly 5,000 members, LPJC is one of the best resources in Austin to connect talented job seekers with employers who are looking for great people.

1. Calendar Maintainer.
   
   
2. Job Postings Coordinator (Its a BIG job these days and we already have several members helping out..but we need more).
   
   
3. Kathy's Assistant - pull job postings from her multiple accounts and post them to the group.
   
   
4. Publicity - now that LPJC is on its own, we need help!.
   
   
5. Grant Writing - we now have a 501(c)(3) and stats that we've collected but need help writing the grants .
   
   
6. Fund Raising- since we no longer have the free space, we will need to pay for space, helping out by collecting donations, monies, finding free space for meetings/clublets
   
   
7. Content Maintainer - we have changed our website to something a little more easy to keep up to date, but we need someone to organize our activities into content that is easily found and current.  Takes someone with good writing skills and and keen eye for detail.

LPJC is a federally recognized 501(c)(3), therefore, the estimated value of donations is tax-deductible. .

Below is a list of some items that our growing non-profit needs.

1. Video Camera - for taping the mock interviews and meetings with special guests.
   
   
2. Folding/Stacking Chairs - we need chairs for our new facility that can either be folded or stacked for storage purposes
